New Study on the Miriquidi Ropeway - BRINGING NATIONS TOGETHER!

24/07/2010

In this study the Miriquidi ropeway is shown to connect not just the peaks of two mountains, but also the towns of Jachymov (Joachimsthal) in the Czech Republic and Oberwiesenthal in Germany − with total travel time of less than 20 minutes. Miriquidi stations at the peaks of the Klinovec (or in German Keilberg) and Fichtelberg mountains and the respective cable cars to Jachymov and Oberwiesenthal allow for comfortable disembarkation and transfer (see AKTIV ARENA illustrations). This new variant not only optimizes the flow of visitors, but also reduces traffic in the mountain regions of Bozi Dar and Klinovec North and on both mountain peaks.
